| January 1, 2007 | Step Out To Fight Diabetes | | | | | | | Description
Many of you may remember last year when CAI organized a team for the Walk for Diabetes. Some of our employees participated by walking and others, by supporting the team through generous donations. Together we raised over $2,300, making us one of the top ten teams in the west valley. This year we want to be Number One! To do this, we need the support and participation from all sites through a fund raiser. The site that raises the most money will be the winner of a pie. Why a pie you may ask? For every $100 raised, the winning site will be awarded a pie to graciously toss into Jose’s face… please watch the hair.
This year the walk is called “Step Out To Fight Diabetes”. We have once again organized a team open for all employees to join. Guidelines for the walkers include a registration fee of $15 and further pledge to raise $100. For joining the CAI team, you will receive a T-shirt and the rewarding feeling of helping others while building strong community ties to support the fight against diabetes.

The Phoenix Mercury, Arizona's own professional women's basketball team, has developed a new program called Score for Kids. Their goal is to introduce the WNBA and the Phoenix Mercury to over 3,000 girls and their families throughout the upcoming season. We have been offered the first choice of tickets and hope that you will be able to participate on behalf of Clinica Adelante! All employees are invited. Please come and bring your daughters, nieces, neighbors, sisters and other girls in your life that would benefit from seeing these amazing athletes in action.
